TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

A deposit of 50% is required to secure the event date.
-
The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
-
Deposits are non-refundable after five days from the booking date. For events within two weeks of booking, refunds are not available.
-
For events that are less than a month away, full balance must be paid in full at time of booking.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
-
Cancellation must be made in writing (email).
-
A refund of the deposit is available if canceled 5 days from the booking date.
-
In the event of a cancellation within five days prior to the scheduled event, no refund of the remaining balance will be issued.
-
Rescheduling is permitted. If your event is canceled, you may reschedule within three months of the original event date.
3. SERVICE DURATION & OVERTIME

The rental includes [x hours] of service.

Additional hours are available at an extra hourly rate, subject to availability. See our Add-Ons section on our website for pricing.
4. ACCESS & SETUP REQUIREMENTS
-
X Photobooth requires at least 90 minutes for setup and 10 x 10 feet of space.
-
Electricity must be available within 15 feet of the booth setup location.
-
It is the sole responsibility of the client to secure permission from the event venue for X Photobooth to set up & operate the photo booth at your event.
-
It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure there is enough space for us to operate and an electrical outlet nearby.
-
It is the client’s responsibility to inform X Photobooth of any restrictions at the site that may affect setup or operation of the photo booth and X Photobooth’s ability to adequately perform their duties. The client understands that such restrictions may advertently affect the overall experience and/or quality of photos, and that X Photobooth is not responsible for the consequence of those restrictions.

5. LIABILITY & DAMAGES

The client is responsible for any damages to the photo booth caused by guests or event staff.

X Photobooth is not liable for any injuries that may occur as a result of using the booth or props.
6. TECHNICAL ISSUES & EQUIPMENT FAILURE
-
If the booth experiences a malfunction, the client will be compensated with additional time or a refund for the time lost. This will be calculated the day after the event.

X Photobooth is not liable for any loss of use if equipment failure is caused by external factors (e.g. power outages).
7. IMAGE USAGE RIGHTS
-
X Photobooth reserves the right to use photos taken with their equipment for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.

The client and guests have permission to download and share photos for personal use only.
8. PRIVACY & DATA HANDLING
-
All photos are stored securely and may be deleted after 2 months unless otherwise requested.
-
Guest data (emails or phone numbers) collected through the photo booth will not be shared with third parties.
9. PROPS & ATTIRE
-
Props provided by X Photobooth are sanitized and maintained but should be handled with care by guests.
-
The client is liable for lost or damaged props, and a replacement fee may be applied.
10. PERMITS & VENUE REQUIREMENTS
-
The client is responsible for ensuring the venue permits a photo booth setup.
-
Any venue fees, permits, or licenses required for the booth are the responsibility of the client.
11. FORCE MAJEURE
-
X Photobooth is not liable for cancellation or delays caused by events outside of their control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

12. GUEST CONDUCT
-
X Photobooth reserves the right to stop service and remove their equipment from the event if guests engage in inappropriate or destructive behavior towards the booth or staff.

No refunds are given if the service is halted due to client or guest misconduct.
13. PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY
-
The client must provide accessible parking and loading areas for setup and takedown at no extra cost.
14. PHOTO TEMPLATE DESIGN
-
One custom design photo template is part of your package. We will discuss your preference, after which X Photobooth will create a design and send it to you for review. If we do not receive feedback prior to the event, we will assume the design is approved and proceed with the final version.
15. DIGITAL SHARING & POOR WI-FI/DATA CONNECTIVITY
-
X Photobooth requires Wi-Fi or data connectivity to be able to instantly share digital copies of photos to you and your guests. In locations with limited Wi-Fi or poor data connectivity, there may be delays with certain digital services.
